week 1 day two

I took a day off as prescribed. I feel a little tendonitis in my right elbow. I worked through it today. It's Friday and I am going to take off until Monday. I will still be on week one day 3 then I think I am going to start from week one day one on Monday to start at an even spot in the rotation. I am battling with myself as I type this as to whether or not that is a setback. My rational self says no. My irrational impatient self says it is a setback. I think that I will listen to my internal voice of reason. I did work out this week and some pullups are better than none.

rest day number 1

I don't think that I will label every rest day. Today is however a novelty. I fell pretty good. I have some soreness but that may be from doing the initial strength tests for the one hundred pushups challenge and the one hundred pull-ups challenge on yesterday. If anyone else is reading this comment if you like on my choice to do this. I know that overdoing it can be dicouraging but I do not feel that way now. I figure that doing the pushup and puu-up challenges concurrently is akin to doing the P90X or some other challenge without doing the weights. I will only do these every other day.

week 1 day 1

I just started today. I did the initial test and the week 1 day 1 workout. The first workout was tough. The amount of reps and rest seem appropriate for my current strength level. I am looking forward to completing the program.
Thanks for establishing this site and making the daily entries possible. It really helps to journal. I like to write but I don't like using paper and pencil so this is ideal for me.
